Formed in 1986, the ACT Branch has 45 members going into our 26th year.
Although we are one of the smaller branches under the umbrella of the National DHAA, the standards of dental hygiene practice in the ACT is incredibly high. Members continue to seek new information, strive for excellence in patient care and work as a most valuable asset alongside dentists & dental specialists.
The future of dental hygiene in the ACT is very exciting with the modern dental practice increasingly seeking to have a dental hygienist as an integral member of the clinical team, and with educational institutions increasing their intake numbers, we can look forward to an ever increasing number of highly trained professionals joining us in the future.
